Components of the Einstein After School Program

The Einstein Academy offers an after school program every school day based on the components listed below.   Each after school activity will incorporate at least one of these key components. Watch each week for what your child will be doing.

Character Building: Who Am I?

• Develop self esteem
• Emphasizes strong characteristics
• Encourages leadership
• Understand personal identity: “it’s okay to be different”
• Validation of self-worth

Teamwork: Let’s work together!

• Positive attitude
• Lean to encourage others who are not athletically inclined
• Understand limits and rules
• Learn to be supportive and encourage teammates
• Help others experience success

Games/ Social Skills: Communication is key

• Develop social skills
• Understand the importance of having good social skills
• Define social skills
• Age appropriate social skills 
• Utilizing social skills during games and activities

Arts and Crafts: I’m Creative, Too!

• Encourages creativity
• Use various mediums 
• Learn to complete a project once it has been started
• Express creative ideas
